Born Ann Kathleen Malcolm in December 14, 1916 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia Canada, raised there
and in Everett, Massachusetts. Married John Gaunt Brooks of Chicago, Illinois adopted two children from the Cradle in Evanston,
Illinois: William Blair and Robert Malcolm. A resident of Los Angeles, California since 1956, passed from this chapter of
her life experiences on April 13, 2004 3:00PM after an extended battle to recover from injuries sustained in 2000.

Important questions about Care.
One of the most difficult things to deal with is the unacceptable care that is available to our parents
and loved ones who are in need of full time attention or specialized types of care.
We must all demand services based on our informed desires and insist upon support and assistance
for our loved ones like we would like to receive. That is the only way that that type of care will exist when we need
it. Support alternative medicine, wholistic care, patients rights and the right of self determination.
